9AM-11AM Greater Mohican Audobon Society Bird Walk. Tim Leslie will lead a short hike down the road from the Bird Sanctuary to the backwaters of Clearfork Reservoir. Ohio Bird Sanctuary
9AM-4PM Fly Fishing Demonstration. The Mohican Fly Fishers will have a display and demonstration of fly tying, casting and fishing in the Clearfork River. Mohican State Park, Covered Bridge
10AM-12PM Animals, "Hands On." This informal, ongoing program will allow individuals a chance to learn about and handle some of the animals native to our area. Included in the program will be several examples of amphibians, reptiles and small mammals. Gorman Nature Center
10AM-3PM Photographing Birds of Prey. Have you ever wondered how the professionals get those great wildlife shots? Now is your chance! The Sanctuary staff will perch our raptors in natural settings to allow you to get the perfect picture. Three bird species will be available every hour. Donations appreciated. Ohio Bird Sanctuary
9AM, 10:30AM, 12PM, 1:30PM Birding Boat Tours. Tour the coastline of the Clearfork Reservoir in search of osprey, shore birds, and nesting eagles. Tickets are $5 per person and may be purchased at the Keynote event or at the Bird Sanctuary. Ohio Bird Sanctuary
10AM-4PM Self-guided Walk of Nature Trail and Wolf Creek Grist Mill On going guided tours of the operating gristmill with interpreters present in period costumes. Early 1800s encampment. $1 admission for visitors over age 10. Wolf Creek Grist Mill, Mohican State Park. State Route 3 south of State Route 97
11AM-4PM Tours of the "Big House" Noted author and conservationist Louis Bromfields historical Federal Reserve style home open for guided public tours. The 32-room home has all of the original furnishings and was the site of the famous hollywood wedding of Bogart and Bacall on May 21, 1945. Tickets available at the Vistor Center Malabar Farm State Park
11AM-3PM Bluebird, Bee, or Bat Nest-box Workshop. The Malabar Farm Volunteers and the Ohio Bluebird Society will host public Bluebird, Bee, and Bat Nesting Box Workshops to construct nesting boxes. $15/box. Malabar Farm Visitor Center
11AM-4PM Growing Green. Tour the exhibits and "green" visitor center building for information and demonstration on solar, wind, geothermal and green building materials. Malabar Farm Visitor Center
12PM-3PM Richland County Master Gardeners; Visit the "hands on" insect display. Learn about Ohios "helpful" or "harmful" insects. Kids will also be given seed packets for planting their very own butterfly garden. Collect a free sticker for children. Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer gardening questions. Malabar Farm

1PM Woodpeckers - Nature's Master Builders. PowerPoint, specimens, and hike. Weather permitting. Gorman Nature Center
1PM-3PM Farm Wildlife Tours. Tractor drawn wagon tours provide a wealth of history about the farm and provide an opportunity to see farm animals and wildlife. $2/person Purchase tickets in the Gift Shop. Malabar Farm Visitor Center
