Functional Sustainability #2: Making Your Home Environmentally Friendly

Join the RCPD staff, along with special guests, as we show you ways that you can work to make your home environmentally friendly! In session #2, we will once again, show you how to eliminate harmful chemicals and toxic products from your household, including cleaners, polishes, soaps, detergents, dryer sheets, sanitizing agents and much more, by introducing you to the Norwex line of products. We will also introduce everyone to the wonders of the composting toilet! Learn from a local expert the benefits of having a composting toilet in your very own home and tour the nature center to see how composting toilets benefit the park district.
