"Rockin' Stream Exploration" - Come join us for a hike to explore the geology and history of Gorman Nature Center! Did you know that water changed the entire landscape of Ohio? Our natural history was defined by vast, shallow, prehistoric oceans that covered all or most of Ohio and by massive sheets of ice, over a mile high, that scoured the surrounding countryside. We'll search for fossils in the streams that will speak to Ohio's aquatic past. Wear footwear that can get wet, as we'll be exploring the streams on the property.
